ZeroWasteStore Launches World’s First Sustainable Shopping App

“Our vision at ZeroWasteStore is to make sustainable purchases the most convenient way to shop, the launch of the ZeroWasteStore mobile app will bring us closer to that reality,” said JJ Follano, co-founder of ZeroWasteStore. “We are a market as much as an advocacy platform to rethink the way we consume. This app will allow us to expand our community and create a wider sphere of impact as we collectively tackle the climate crisis. “

ZeroWasteStore’s ethics center on making small, lasting changes to create big positive impact. With 73% of consumers in their marketplace buying on mobile, the co-founders JJ Follano and Sarah cieslinski decided to create an easy-to-use mobile application to better serve these customers. This new app will allow consumers around the world to make sustainable purchases right from their mobile device and discover new environmentally-focused brands on the ZeroWasteStore platform. Some of their fan favorite partners include Stasher, No Tox Life, Elate Cosmetics, and Suds & Co.

The features and benefits of the ZeroWasteStore app include:

  • All orders are packed with zero waste, containing compostable, recyclable materials and all orders are carbon neutral.
  • Instantly access your account from the palm of your hand to track your past orders, gift lists, and wish lists.
  • 1% of all sales go to our planet.
  • Take advantage of special offers and app-only discounts, including their introductory offer of 15% off your initial in-app purchase for the first 1,000 users.

The application launches as COP26 the summit ends and consumers are heading into the biggest shopping season of the year. The founders of ZeroWasteStore are hoping their app will enable buyers to take action for the climate with their wallets this holiday season by purchasing from over 200 certified sustainable brands on their app. It is now available for free on the App store and google play.
