The WWE Raw and Smackdown Tag Team titles will be on the line for a Winner Take All Championship Unification match at WrestleMania Backlash.
This week’s episode of Smackdown saw Raw Tag Team Champions Randy Orton and Riddle (aka RK-Bro) head to the ring to address The Usos on Raw last Monday. During that The Usos appearance on Raw, they made it clear that they wanted the Raw Tag Team Titles. After The Usos defeated The Street Profits in a competitive tag team match on Raw, it looks like The Usos have earned that title opportunity.
The Usos welcomed RK-Bro to Smackdown by reminding the Raw Tag Team Champions exactly who The Usos are. This fired up former 14-time WWE World Champion Randy Orton, who reminded The Usos that he had made WWE history over the past 20 years. Both sets of champions have made it clear that they want unification, but it wasn’t official yet. At the end of the promotional trade, The Usos launched a cheap attack on Riddle by setting up a main event match with Riddle facing Jimmy Uso in singles.
During the Smackdown broadcast, WWE announced that RK-Bro and The Usos would each showcase their titles at WrestleMania Backlash on May 7 in a Winner Take All Championship Unification match.

The main event of Smackdown saw Riddle take on Jimmy Uso in a singles match. Towards the end of the match, Jimmy kicked Randy Orton while he was out of the ring. Jey also chased after Randy, but poor Jey ended up getting slammed on the commentary table. Riddle dodged a top rope attack from Jimmy, which resulted in Riddle hitting an incredible RKO counter out of nowhere and Riddle pinning Jimmy to win the match.
This won’t be the first time RK-Bro has faced The Usos. There was no winner when RK-Bro took on The Usos on the March 28 Raw. When they wrestled at Survivor Series 2021, RK-Bro took the win in that match. This time, both sets of tag team titles are on the line.
The next WWE Premium Live event is called WrestleMania Backlash on Sunday, May 8. Here’s what we know so far:
* Cody Rhodes vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins
* Winners all win the Tag Team Championship Unification Match: RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle) vs The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso)
* Smackdown Women’s Championship – I left the match: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Ronda Rousey

You can watch WrestleMania Backlash live stream Sunday, May 8 at 8 ET/5 PT on Peacock in the US and on WWE Network everywhere else.
