Women’s bag Telangana TT team championship

The FCI Telangana team receives the trophy from all the finalists.

Hyderabad: Telangana Women’s Team won the Table Tennis Team Championship in the Southern Zone Indoor Interregional Games hosted by the Regional Sports Promotion Committee (RSPC), Food Corporation of India at LB Indoor Stadium on Tuesday.

A Ratna Swapna (TS) took gold in the women’s singles table tennis event. Later, she teamed with Parimala Kishori and defeated Manjusha and Ashlesha of Andhra Pradesh in the doubles final. Meanwhile, Poorna Chandar Rao and Sai Kiran settled for silver in men’s doubles.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh became overall champions while Telangana team won the runners-up title.
