The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship is set for a fatal four-way match

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania 38 would be a fatal four-way match. The Wrestling Observer reports that The Company will change this match again after adding the team of Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan to make them a Triple Threat this week on Monday Night Raw. Originally, Zelina Vega and Carmella were set to defend their titles against Sasha Banks and Naomi.

Ripley and Morgan earned their place in the match after defeating Vega and Carmella in a non-title match. Vega and Carmella have been the tag team champions since beating Ripley and Nikki ASH for the belts in November of last year. Ripley and Nikki broke up as a team earlier this year after ASH turned on Rhea and attacked her.

There is no official word as to how the fourth team will be in the WrestleMania match, but the report says it will be either Natalya and Shotzi or Shayna Baszler. WrestleMania 38 will take place April 2-3 in Dallas, Texas. Other matches announced include Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar in a World Championship Unification Match, AJ Styles vs. Edge, Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship, Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey for the Smackdown Women’s Championship, Steve Austin on the KO Show, Johnny Knoxville vs. Sami Zayn, Austin Theory vs. Pat McAfee, The Miz & Logan Paul vs. The Mysterios, and more.

The Women’s Tag Team Championship is currently scheduled for night two of WrestleMania 38.
