Swerve In Our Glory wins the AEW Tag Team Championship at Fyter Fest

The team of Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland won their first AEW gold as part of the first night of action at Fyter Fest. Swerve in our Glory defeated both The Young Bucks and FTW (Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs) to dethrone The Bucks in their second AEW Tag Title reign. After the match, “Limitless” Lee dedicated the championship win to a close friend who is battling cancer.

The victory came after a huge dive from Lee to the outside and a stomp from Swerve to end the contest. The championship win has sparked questions from fans since the duo teased a split in recent weeks, ever since Swerve knocked Lee out of the AEW Interim Championship battle royal.

Either way, it’s a great first time for both wrestlers as part of the AEW roster. The Tag Division is absolutely stellar in AEW, a great place for Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland to continue wowing audiences with their incredible talent.

Elsewhere on the card, Wardlow retained their TNT Championship against Orange Cassidy and former Real American partners Claudio Castagnoli and Jake Hager got into an all-out war.
