Talk to WWE in an exclusive interviewPerez said she and Jade, as champions, would ring a bell.

“Honestly, I think I could speak for Cora when I say this, but that would be amazing. Me and Cora have been dreaming and working for this for years. So at Great American Bash. We’re taking these titles from Toxic Attraction. Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez, the NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, sound really good.” (From 0:43 to 1:09)

Former WWE Star Talks Roxanne Perez’s Potential

At only 20 years old, the young star has already carved out a great career by becoming the very first female world champion of the Ring of Honor.

The star’s former colleague, Maria Kanellis, recently said on the Bleav in professional wrestling podcastthat Perez has the same ability as Becky Lynch.

“I hesitate to say this because I don’t like anyone comparing anyone to anyone else, but the ability you have in Becky Lynch, you have in Roxanne. I think that it will only grow… Roxanne will be on the same level as Becky.”

She continued:

“She’s got the technique. She’s got the history, she’s got the heart. She used to ride the bus to wrestling practice before she could drive a car or something. She took the bus to be able to go to training.” (H/T – Wrestling Inc)

With such high praise from her peers, fans will no doubt expect to see the best of Roxanne Perez every week.
