Rochester man to woman on dating app: Fear of being murdered?

0
Have you ever been afraid of being murdered on a first date with someone?

Today’s adventure is comical because it was funny for Keisha, but it’s also super creepy and scary because it started with a question that would make anyone put up walls in a fraction of second.

“So his introduction was like, have you ever been scared of being murdered on a first date with someone?”

My first answer was… WHAT? But there would be more what is on the way.

Keisha, a single mom from Rochester, Minnesota, shares her dating adventures with us, and it’s a lighthearted, yet sometimes serious, walk through the life of dating apps.

“That was, that was the first question he asked me and I was like, well, I’m now! Sseriously. I put all kinds of precautions in place.”

The Creepy Man asked about precautions, what were they? Keisha explained, “There are about four people who have your information now, they know where we are and what time I have to check in. And they won’t hesitate to avenge my murder.”

She gave as well as he did, but she was also serious. When he asked if they wanted to plan a day to meet (I added another WOW, the lack of conscience with this guy!), he said he had promised not to kill her. Which is, of course, exactly what you would expect him to say.

“I was like, maybe I should have stopped there first, like when he first approached me, but I was curious to see where he was going. So I wanted to continue to him talking just to see where he was going. But then I was, “I should have blocked him on that first question there!”

I completely understand the moment Keisha pushed the envelope. I’ve been in situations where I shouldn’t have moved on, but I didn’t seem willing to resist the temptation to find out what would happen next. Fortunately, I was lucky.
