Competition : Information from WA7BMN
The most enjoyable for me was The SSB Field Day. I can’t do them anymore. The Lichfield group, of which I was a member, broke up, broke up and in some cases became SK. It was great fun while it lasted. Good luck to everyone out there this coming weekend.

Sun: There are at least 5 living sunspots

It looked like sunspot AR3088 would never stop exploding. Over the past four days, the oddly magnetized active region has produced more than a dozen M-class solar flares. (Spaceweather.com)

NASA will hold a teleconference at 6 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, August 30 to discuss the upcoming launch of the Artemis I lunar rocket. Monday’s first attempt was canceled when a hydrogen pipe failed to fully open and to properly cool one of the four main engines. NASA hopes to fix the issue in time for a new launch window on September 2.

Football: Stoke beat Blackburn 0-1 then sacked our manager and got a new one, Alex Neil. We nabbed him at Sunderland. Wednesday night we play Swansea in Stoke.

locust : The third and last Test Match England against South Africa will not take place until next week.
