Peacock app to stream the Sunday morning baseball package; Two Royals games scheduled



STAMFORD, Connecticut – April 6, 2022 – The peacock will become the exclusive home of a new Major League Baseball Sunday morning game of the week, it was announced today. Beginning May 8, Peacock will broadcast a baseball game produced by NBC Sports live for 18 consecutive weeks, with start times for the first six Sunday games at 10:30 a.m. CT and the following 12 Sunday games starting at 11:00 a.m. CT. Each game will feature pre-game and post-game broadcasts produced by NBC Sports on Peacock.

Game 1 (Chicago White Sox vs. Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park on May 8 at 10:30 a.m. CT) will be simulcast on the NBC broadcast network, with the remaining 17 games available exclusively on Peacock’s premium service (full program below). Additionally, Peacock will exclusively host the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game – featuring top minor league prospects – to be played during All-Star Week in July at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

On each of the 18 Sundays that Peacock presents a game, it will be scheduled as the exclusive home of MLB action live until 12:30 p.m. CT that daywhen the rest of the day’s schedule begins.

Peacock will also feature classic MLB games, award-winning documentaries from the MLB Film and Video Archive, and flagship packages available on demand at a new MLB hub.
