The Right Stuff is a new curatorial-only program dating app launching next month that seeks to match like-minded people in their quest to find love. The hyper-exclusive app touts an invite-only sign-up program, no pronouns on profiles, and lots of blanks on his website.

Isn’t love great? These days, finding someone who’s compatible with you can be tough – just ask the young curators. From outdated views on race and reproductive rights to a blind allegiance to a twice-deposed former POTUS, some conservatives may struggle to find like-minded people to connect with — until now. The Right Stuff is an invite-only, conservative-only dating app, and it will launch next month. The app is the brainchild of Ryann McEnany. She is the sister of former Trump White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany. The app is also backed by conservative tech billionaire Peter Thiel, According to The Hill. The publication also reports that the company told them the app was designed for heterosexual couples, meaning Thiel, an openly gay man, wouldn’t need it much at launch. But they also reportedly said they were looking to expand their relationship to same-sex relationships.

Disclosure: In 2013, Thiel secretly finance a lawsuit against Gizmodo’s former owner, Gawker Media, leading to the company’s bankruptcy in 2016.

“We’re sorry you had to endure years of bad dates and wasted time with people who don’t see the world our way. The right way,” McEnany said. in a video on Twitter from The Right Stuff. “What I love most about [the app] is that it is by invitation only, so not just anyone can join.

Any woman who joins the app is entitled to a free Premium membership if they invite their friends, while men have to pay, which is a delightfully traditional angle for the group determined to relive 1950s American values. also offers a complicated way to meet people: you post a date and time on your profile and let other curators come to you like sharks. This glorified Google Calendar app also does not offer any self-assigned gender options apart from male and female, nor is there an option to include pronouns on your profile.

The idea of a conservative dating app is of course not new. There are plenty of Republican dating sites and apps for those who lean on the right. No matter where you are on the political spectrum, weeding out those who disagree with you on important issues could be a good thing. Unless of course you’re looking for a little friendly talk to spice up what would otherwise be a boring date.
