Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) The services business is a critical cog in the tech giant’s wheel, and the company provides an update on how the segment fared in 2021.

“Apple’s portfolio of world-class services proved essential in 2021, as people around the world sought new ways to be entertained, informed, connected and inspired,” said declared Swirl tail, Apple’s senior vice president of services.

In the just-ended holiday season alone, App Store customers spent more than ever between Christmas Eve and New Years, driving double-digit growth over last year , Apple added.

Apple Arcade: Apple’s video game subscription service Apple Arcade’s game library saw its biggest expansion yet in 2021. It now offers gamers of all ages more than 200 premium, family-friendly games.

Apple says that in 2022, gamers can expect new games to be released, including “Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis,” and enjoy new content updates added weekly.

AppleTV+: Apple Music, which offers listeners one of the largest catalogs of music in the world, now offers more than 90 million songs, all available in lossless audio, the company said.

Apple Music Radio, which includes Apple Music 1, Apple Music Hits and Apple Music Country, provided subscribers with exclusive radio shows, the company said. Music radio hosts are connected to the world’s biggest superstars, the tech giant added.

In 2021, Apple Music launched the Voice Plan, a new Siri-powered subscription tier.

AppleTV+: Apple said Apple TV+ subscribers will be able to enjoy even more anticipated Apple Originals in 2022. All Apple Original shows and movies are available on the Apple TV app, accessible from over 1 billion devices, including popular smart TVs.

The next generation of Apple TV 4K, launched last spring with the Siri Remote, is available in 24 countries and regions, including Belgium, Hong Kong and Russia.
